In this policy, ‘we’, refers to The Wednesday Word Trust, a registered charity in England and Wales (1125628) a limited company (registered company number 06608112). 

The type of information we hold
To enable us to provide you with our product and service, we may collect personal information which may include your name, telephone number, email address, postal address and payment details (including bank account number and sort code).  If you object to use of this information then we may be unable to offer you our product and service.   

How we use your personal information
We will use your personal information to

  • Provide our product and service that you have requested
  • Communicate with you through the weekly email reminder for the duration of your subscription or until you tell us otherwise.

We may also take the opportunity to

  • Contact you about changes to your delivery
  • Provide additional assistance or tips about our product and service.
  • Notify you of important functionality changes to our websites

Here at The Wednesday Word we take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to administer your account and to provide the product and service you have requested from us.

Who we share it with
We don't share your information with anyone except for the printing company we use to manage our leaflet distribution.  They receive your name and address, and process this data solely for the use described.

How long we keep your information 
We will keep your information on our databases for as long as we are in contact with you or you ask us to keep sending you things.  If we haven't had much contact after 5 years, we'll ask you if you still want to keep in touch with us. 

Your rights 
Under data protection law you have the right to change or withdraw your consent and to request details of any personal data that we hold about you.  Where we have no legitimate reason to continue to hold your information, you have the right to be forgotten.  If you wish to inform us of changes in consent please contact us at the address indicated in any recent correspondence or emails you have received from us.

Website – what information do we collect?
The information which we collect and store during normal use of the site is used to monitor and analyse how parts of the site are used. Such use does not result in any personally identifiable data being collected or stored.  You have the option on certain pages within this site to submit personal information to The Wednesday Word in order that we might send you further information.
